Rhodes Desert is a variety of Selinite.

Its name derives from rose-like formations.

It is created by a long process of condensation of moisture and with elements of the area, such as sand, gypsum, barite, with wind erosion, the formation increases in volume. The "petals" are flattened crystals, and when observed, they open up along longitudinal features of gypsum cleavage.

They look like flowers turned into stone.

Each Rhodes Desert has a different and unique shape. It is impossible to find two desert roses in the world that will have the same shapes. Stones formed with many geological and climate events and changes.
